Public Bank, Visa target affluent customers

Public Bank and Visa is now offering a premium card to help affluent customers enjoy the finer things in life.

Called the Public Bank Visa Infinite card, the by-invitation-only Public Visa Infinite Card targets affluent customers with an income of RM240,000 per annum.

The card provides cardholders with access to a wide range of exceptional benefits, including premium rewards and privileges with some of the world's leading travel, retail and lifestyle brands.

"With Public Bank's support and market presence, we believe we are introducing one of the best payment cards in Malaysia," said Stuart Tomlinson, Visa's Country Manager for Malaysia.

"We are continually looking to provide our customers with greater rewards and privileges that complement their lifestyle needs," said Public Bank chief operating officer Datuk Chang Kat Kiam said at the launch.

"Customers today have become more savvy and sophisticated in their lifestyle choices and demand that transaction methods fall in line," he added.

The Public Bank Visa Infinite card comes without an annual fee for cardholders, offers a one per cent cash rebate for overseas transactions and 0.5 per cent cash rebate for local transactions, as well as complimentary access to airport lounges.
