Barry brings with him more than 15 years’ experience in advisory - primarily to public sector organizations in Malaysian and across the region. He has also worked with large private sector entities and small businesses having started his career as a technology entrepreneur. Barry's core expertise is in business strategy development, public policy, economic impact assessment, investment and trade as well as programme management. He has also led a number of national level tourism studies including on policy development, MICE and niche tourism. He is currently responsible for Frost & Sullivan’s Public Sector and Government Practise across ASEAN.
He spent a considerable part of his career in a Malaysian government funded industry development agency driving technology and innovation. Barry was part of and led numerous multilateral trade and promotion engagements across technology markets of the US, India, ASEAN and key markets of the Middle East. He has also since played advisory roles to IT and telecommunications companies across the region, as well as Malaysian government entities that lead national innovation, cross-sector industry development, and also investment promotion.
Barry has spoken at numerous industry and government forums on topics relating to mega trends, industry development, investment promotion and international trade issues.

Mr. Francisco heads the investment banking group of BDO Unibank inc. and holds several positions in BDO - he is President of BDO Capital & Investment Corporation, Chairman of BDO Nomura Securities, and Chairman of Averon Holdings Corp.
He is also the Chairman for the International Association of Financial Executives Institutes (IAFEI) and sits on the boards of CIBI Foundation, Shareholders Association of the Philippines (SharePhil), FINEX Research & Foundation, International School of Manila (ISM), UP College of Business Alumni Association (UPCBAA), Makati Sports Club, Inc. (MSCI) and Valle Verde Country Club, Inc. (VVCCI). He is also a member of Makati Business Club (MBC), and the POLO Triathlon Team.
He is on the Capital Markets committees of the Bankers Association of the Philippines and Philippine Stock Exchange. He is also in the Listings committee of the Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corporation.
Mr. Francisco has worked with other financial institutions in New York and Hong Kong. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines.
He was recently honored by BizNewsAsia’s Nation Builders.
He is also a recipient of Distinguished Alumni award for Financial Management Excellence from the University of the Philippines and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the U.P. College of Business Administration and 2017 UPAA Awardee for Financial Management Excellence.

Cecilia Borromeo

Cecilia “Cecile” C. Borromeo holds the distinction of being President and Chief Executive Officer of two government financial institutions – the Development Bank of the Philippines which she capably led for two years, and LANDBANK where she started her banking career 27 years ago.
While short, her presidency in DBP from January 2017 to February 2019 was marked with significant growth in all key financial indicators, notably in net income which grew by 36%, deposits by 33% and loans by 20%.
She re-joined LANDBANK on March 1, 2019 and she felt right at home in the organization where she worked her way up to various key positions. This included heading the Agricultural and Development Lending Sector from 2012 to 2016 which resulted to 74% growth in regular loan portfolio and 44% in revenue.
Her extensive career experience includes 27 years of handling various posts including as head of the Agricultural and Development Lending Sector. She also has experience in treasury and investment banking, public sector lending, corporate banking, global banking, wholesale banking and lending program management.
Cecile completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness at the University of the Philippines Los Baños and underwent the Master in Business Administration program of the De La Salle Business School. She is a graduate of the Advanced Bank Management Course of the Asian Institute of Management and the Pacific Rim Bankers Program at the University of Washington Executive Education Foster School of Business. She likewise attended the International Study on Rural banking and Finance at the Massey University in New Zealand.
