Guidelines & Criteria

GUIDELINES
1. Nomination is open to all retail banks in Asia.
2. Each bank can nominate up to 3 categories only.
Important: For Retail Bank of the Year category, bank is only allowed to be nominated for either International Bank OR Domestic Bank.
3. Awards will be judged by a esteemed industry experts committee based on nominations received.
4. Each nomination form is valid for 1 entry only. If you are nominating for several categories, please enter each entry separately.
5. Nomination is free of charge for the banks.
 
ELIGIBILITY
1. For entries that will be entered for the Domestic & International Retail Bank of the Year, Rural/Cooperative Bank of the Year and Finance Company of the Year, the bank must demonstrate an overall significant success and accomplishments achieved over the last 12 calendar months of 2018.
 
2. For entries that will be entered for rest of the categories (ie. Advertising Campaign, Digital
Banking, Financial Inclusion, Mobile Banking, Online Banking, CSR, etc.), you must nominate a project, product, service or initiative that was:
Launched over the last 12 calendar months of 2018, either in part or full.
Launched prior to 2018 but had recent innovations to improve or develop the project, product, service or initiative
 
JUDGING CRITERIA
1. For entries that will be entered for the Domestic & International Retail Bank of the Year, Rural/Cooperative Bank of the Year and Finance Company of the Year,
  • Achievements - What are the remarkable milestones that the bank has achieved?
  • Challenges & Solutions - What are the biggest challenges that the bank encountered in moving the company forward? What solutions were implemented to overcome these challenges?
  • Innovation - What are the unique and innovative initiatives did the bank introduce to substantially boost the company's business?
2. For entries that will be entered for rest of the categories for specific project, products, services and initiatives (ie. Advertising Campaign, Digital
Banking, Financial Inclusion, Mobile Banking, Online Banking, CSR, etc.)
  • Uniqueness & Innovation - Has the project introduced new or cutting-edge innovation?
  • Effectiveness & Impact - Did the project/product/service achieve its objectives and targets? What measures have been used to assess its success? What was the impact to your company and industry?
  • Dynamism - Is the strategy, project, service or product flexible to changes and progressive opportunities?

HOW TO ENTER?
1. Go to online nomination form of Retail Banking Awards 2019.
2. Fill out the form with details about company and entrant.
3. Choose your category.
4. Provide the project title and 500-word write-up and tell us why you are deserving to be chosen as a winner.
5. You will then receive an email confirmation from the awards team shortly after your nomination has been received.
6. Should you wish to send supporting documents or photos to substantiate your entry, please send them over on or before 17 May 2019 to julie@charltonmediamail.com. The supporting documents and photos must be in pdf, powerpoint and/or jpg format; Youtube.com or Vimeo.com links must be provided if you are sending supporting videos. 
7. Submit your entries on or before 17 May 2019.
