In his role, Luke leads efforts to help enterprises modernize their IT environments through colocation, interconnection, and hybrid cloud solutions. His work connects technical innovation with customer needs, enabling organizations to scale securely and efficiently in a digital-first world.
Prior to this, Luke held various roles in partner programs, marketing, and communications, gaining deep expertise in product strategy, solution marketing, and content development. Since joining Equinix in 2014, he has advised Equinix customers in Asia Pacific on the modernization of their technology platforms, enabling them to accelerate time to market for new technologies and execute go-to-market strategies to grow market-share.
Prior to Equinix, Gareth spent 10 years at Symantec, where he led a team of specialists to bring emerging and newly acquired security technologies to market in Greater China.
Gareth started out as a technologist in the Financial Services Industry in London, and later spent several years working for a start-up software vendor in Melbourne, Australia. He settled in Hong Kong in 2006.
