Pariwat Kanithasen is Deputy Director of the Payments & Fintech Department of the Bank of Thailand and is in charge of cross-border payment connectivity.
He has recently led several projects on payment infrastructure linkages between Thailand and Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Laos.
He is Co-Chair of the ASEAN Working Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems, Vice Chair of the EMEAP Working Group on Payment and Market Infrastructures and country manager for “Project Nexus”, an upcoming multilateral payment linkage project.
Prior to this, he worked on regional financial integration, regional financial cooperation and also acted as the Bank of Thailand’s chief negotiator of financial services and investment chapters of several FTAs.
He was also seconded to the IMF in Washington D.C., as an Advisor to the Executive Director.

Dr. Thaicharoen was appointed as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Wealth Banking Officer on December 18, 2023. Previously, he was Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Wholesale Banking Officer and Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Wealth Banking Officer since March 1, 2022, and held position as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Economist (EIC) in 2021.
Prior to joining SCB, Dr. Thaicharoen was Director at the Monetary Policy Department, Monetary Policy Group, Bank of Thailand, overseeing overall monetary policy analyses and policy recommendations on interest rate, exchange rate, and capital flow policies. Prior to that, he held executive positions in various central bank divisions, including macroeconomics, corporate strategy, and financial stability. During 2009-2010, he was on secondment to serve as Director of the Capital Market Research Institute at the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
Dr. Thaicharoen is an expert on macroeconomics, monetary policy, and capital market. He has published numerous research and commentary articles in local and international publications. He is also a frequent invited speaker for external organizations and public seminars.
Dr. Thaicharoen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics, majoring in finance and international economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, under the Bank of Thailand’s scholarship.

Add also has working experience from community banks, regional banks, and a global bank. Sanphet Sukhapesna is currently the First Senior Vice President at Kasikornbank. He also conducted the development of innovative transmission-mechanism analytics for scenario/stress testing analytics to assess impact from unconventional systemic shock such as pandemic. Preceeding a banking career, Add was in market risk analytics at SS&C GlobeOp, a Long-Term Capital Management legacy, supporting chief risk officers from large hedge funds clients.
Add holds two master’s degrees in operations research and statistics from the H.Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (“ISyE”) at Georgia Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree in economics from Thammasat University.

Sanphet Sukhapesna is currently the First Senior Vice President at Kasikornbank. His experiences include establishing risk appetite statement/metric and risk limit as well as risk policies with the integration with strategic/business planning, and capital planning processes. He also conducted the development of innovative transmission-mechanism analytics for scenario/stress testing analytics to assess impact from unconventional systemic shock such as pandemic. In addition, he led the team to prepare the bank's readiness for new regulatory landscapes including the revision of Basel III. His current roles emphasize developing innovative credit risk analytics and transforming end-to-end credit processes. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering (Operations Research), MS in Financial Engineering, MA in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan, and M.Eng in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.

Supanwongse (Dean) is HSBC Thailand’s Director and Country Head of Global Payments Solutions (GPS). He initially joined HSBC Thailand in 2018 as Senior Vice President, TH Country Head of Sales - Global Liquidity & Cash Management (GLCM) before being promoted to his current role. Prior to joining HSBC, Dean was with Citi for 12 years in a variety of roles including operations, account management, product management, and sales in Direct Custody & Clearing, Markets & Securities Services, and Treasury & Trade Solutions in both Bangkok and Singapore.
Dean holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Science from Mahidol University International College graduating with First-Class Honors and a Master’s degree in International Business and Law from the University of Sydney with Distinction.
