SCB EASY app adjusts maximum daily transaction limit

Transactions included are transfers to other SCB accounts, accounts to other banks, etc.

Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has set a maximum daily transaction limit for fund transfers, payments, and top-ups made via the SCB EASY app.

The maximum daily transaction limit for the SCB EASY App will be adjusted starting 20 September 2025.

Types of transactions counted towards the daily limit include transfers to other SCB accounts, transfers to accounts at other banks, PromptPay transfers, bill payments, top up excluding prepaid cards such as PLANET SCB, and outward international transfers.

For cash withdrawals and cardless withdrawals, customers can set separate limits as usual, the Thai bank said in a press release.

Customers can check the new limits via the SCB EASY app at the “manage personal limit” menu. Limits will be available on 20 September.

The move follows guidelines set by regulatory authorities and the Thai bankers’ association, which are aimed at strengthening customer profiling measures to address financial threats, according to the bank.
