ICBC rolling out a variety of services during first week of October

ICBC, with an aim to provide a variety of financial services to all customers, has formulated a range of special service solutions and taken various measures to improve the quality of services this year's Golden Week of "October First".

During the National Day Holiday, ICBC arranged business hours of outlets in line with the actual conditions of the outlets in different areas, making sure customers' banking business is not affected.

From October 1st to 3rd, ICBC will opened at least 50% of the outlets in busy downtown areas from 10:00 to 16:00. All outlets are open to business at normal hours from October 4th to 7th. In Guangzhou, at least 50% of the outlets  opened from October 1st to 3rd for 6 hours at least. From October 4th to 7th, all outlets are open during the hours as in Saturdays and Sundays. ICBC outlets at all places will make announcement in advance for customers to check and arrange the right time to come to the Bank for banking services during the Holiday.

Besides outlets, ICBC self-service devices and self-service banking are key channels for ICBC to provide 24-hour financial services to the customers during the Holiday. At present, ICBC has installed 48,000 ATMs nationwide at all major transportation hubs, universities and colleges, medical organizations, large communities and commercial centers. At ICBC ATMs, besides depositing or drawing cash, making transfer, customers can also pay bills (water, electricity, gas, communication) and traffic fines or top up highway toll. Before the National Day Holiday, ICBC conducted thorough checking and maintenance on all the self-services devices. During the Holiday, staffs are assigned to monitor the running of ATMs and other self-service devices and supplement cash timely. In Telephone Banking services, ICBC assigns enough call desks to ensure smooth services. This year, ICBC also rolls out SMS customer service. There is no need for customers to register or apply, just send the question to 95588. ICBC will answer all the questions and offer necessary assistance, simple, easy and fast.

A parade of wealth management services is another big offering of ICBC during the National Day Holiday. Besides 7-day call deposit, Link Express, ICBC also launch many wealth management products of different terms for investors to choose the right products to invest during the Holiday. Those who keep a close watch on the international precious metal prices do not need to worry about missing any investment opportunity during the Holiday since ICBC's precious metal service is available as usual. Customers are free to use accounts to buy/sell gold, silver, platinum via ICBC online banking. The trading hours are the same as before, from 07:00 am Monday to 04:00 am Saturday, 24-hour non-stop.

For those who choose to travel and go shopping during the Holiday, ICBC will launch fabulous marketing activities across the country to offer discount to all customers. For example, when you transfer money from ICBC account to other bank account in different cities, or remit money to other banks, through ICBC Mobile Banking, Internet Banking or Telephone Banking, you are entitled to an "extra 50%" off of the standard fee discount stated by the outlet. Different exclusive offers are offered if you use ICBC bank card to spend. ICBC Beijing Branch has launched a marketing campaign. During the promotion period, ICBC cardholders are entitled to many discounts offered in "Swipe Card to Enjoy Discount", "CUP Lucky Draw for Cash", "Exclusive Discount for Exclusive Card", "Special Bonus Point Redemption". Customers in Shanghai when using ICBC cards to pay for shopping at Shanghai's large department stores or electric appliance shopping complex (Bailian Group, Huijin Department Store, Golden Eagle International Shopping Plaza, the Landmark, Jiuguang Department Store, Huijin Shopping Complex, Buynow), besides getting "Free Gift", cash rebate or "discount once spending target amount" are also offered. Upgrade services are available from the above merchants if you use Peony Easy Time Cards to pay for shopping by installment.
