PermataBank Syariah ups profit by 41% in 2011

PermataBank Syariah reported a profit of Rp 133 billion or US$14.45 million in 2011, reports Jakarta Post.

 

The figure is 41 percent higher than its 2010 profit of Rp 94 million.

Similarly, the operational profit of the bank increased by 35 percent to Rp 139 billion.

Meanwhile, this sharia unit of ParmataBank disbursed Rp 3 trillion in financing, 107 percent more than the amount in 2010.

The bank's assets rose 131 percent to Rp 5.2 trillion while its Capital Adequacy Ratio was at 16 percent, increasing from 11 percent in 2010.
