Hang Seng says ‘be vigilant’ of new deceptive sites

Fraudulent websites may display the bank’s logo.

Hang Seng Bank has issued a warning against recent phishing SMS messages claiming to be from the bank, as well as fake websites.

Fraudulent websites using the bank’s name may be using the following domain names:

  • ‘https://net-sg[.]org’
  • ‘https://radionigeriaabuja[.]gov[.]ng/mobile_key/’

Hang Seng told the public that it is not affiliated with these phishing SMS messages and deceitful websites.

It added that it will never request clients to access their e-banking or furnish any personal information.

If individuals receive phishing SMS messages or emails related to these fraudulent websites, they are told to refrain from clicking on any links and should not reveal any personal or other information to such sites.
