Bank Simpanan Nasional hopes to sustain the 10 percent growth last year for its Islamic banking product account savers.

To date, BSN has two million account holders for its BSN GIRO-i, said BSN Islamic banking head,

The bank's Islamic banking customers also comprise non-Muslims.

Ahmad also announced an extra payment of two per cent of profits earned in 2011 to all BSN GIRO-i account holders based on the average balance from February 16 last year.

Ahmad said BSN is also offering many attractive prizes for the bank's Sijil Simpanan Premium savers this year where more than 37,000 prizes worth more than RM14 million are up for grabs compared to 30,000 prizes last year.
