Societe Generale name Selina Cheng as head of ECM in APAC
Cheung was previously head of unified global banking APAC at UBS.
Societe Generale has appointed Selina Cheung as head of equity capital markets (ECM) for the Asia Pacific region.
Cheung will lead the growth of the bank’s ECM franchise in the region, overseeing origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions. She will work with teams across Asia, the United States, and Europe in her role.
Cheung reports regionally to Stephanie Clement de Givry, head of global banking and advisory for Asia Pacific; and functionally to Jeff Mortara and Anvita Arora, co-heads of global ECM.
Prior to joining Societe Generale, Cheung served as head of unified global banking APAC at UBS, where she worked in wealth management and investment banking.
She has over 20 years of work experience, of which over a decade was spent in UBS. Whilst at UBS she also previously served as co-head of Asia ECO and head of private financing markets APAC.
