DBS launches Gen-AI virtual assistant for corporate clients

DBS has launched its enhanced virtual assistant for corporate clients, ‘DBS Joy, powered by generative artificial intelligence.
The service is available through the group’s corporate digital banking platform, IDEAL, and can provide 24/7 support for corporate banking queries.
For more complex queries, users are connected to a customer service specialist, supported by a digital co-pilot.
Meanwhile, the bank plans to progressively roll out the service to other core markets, including Hong Kong and India.
The agent was developed in-house and integrates large language models with the bank’s knowledge base.
