MUFG Bank names Pierre Ferland as co-head of global markets for Asia

He was the former CEO of MUFG Securities Asia.

MUFG Bank has named Pierre Ferland as Co-Head of Global Markets for Asia effective 1 April, according to a news release.

He will be based in Hong Kong and will oversee all of MUFG Bank’s global market activities in the region. He will also be a member of the bank’s Regional Executive Committee for Asia.

Ferland was the former CEO of MUFG Securities Asia and former co-CEO of Capital Resolution for the Royal Bank of Scotland.
