Standard Chartered names new global wealth management head

Standard Chartered has appointed Marc van de Walle as its new global head of wealth management effective 6 July, according to a press note.

He will take over from Didier von Daeniken.

He will be based in Singapore and will report to Benjamin Hung, regional CEO for Greater China & North Asia and CEO for retail banking and wealth management.

He joins from Bank of Singapore where he was most recently the senior managing director and global head of products, and was concurrently the head of wealth management for OCBC.
