Katherine Lau appointed Head of Loan Syndicate for Asia Pacific at Barclays

She will be based in Hong Kong.

Lau will lead the firm's loan syndicate team across Asia Pacific and will report directly to Jonathan Macdonald, Head of Loan Syndicate for EMEA & Asia Pacific and work under the regional leadership of Kentaro Kiso, Head of Syndicate for Asia Pacific.

She joins Barclays from Goldman Sachs where she was an Executive Director in the Loans team in Hong Kong. Lau has 20 years experience in the loans business in Asia having also held previous syndicate positions at Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan.
