Citi names Prashant Thakker as head of Asia South Corporate Bank

He has spent 18 years in Citi.

Citi has appointed Prashant Thakker as head of Asia South Corporate Bank.

Thakker will oversee business strategy, financial performance, talent development, and execution for the Asia South Corporate Bank across local corporate, financial institution, public sector, and global network banking businesses.

Thakker currently heads capital management for JANA and Asia South.

He has spent 18 years at Citi as a banker in India and moved to Hong Kong in 2013 to join the GCM team, where he managed the non-target market leveraged finance portfolio.
