CIMB and Principal expand regional fund offerings for investors
The funds are launched in Malaysia and Thailand.
CIMB Group Holdings Berhad (CIMB) and Principal Financial Group (Principal), through their joint venture Principal Asset Management Berhad, have launched new investment funds in Malaysia and Thailand to help investors manage risk and build wealth amidst market volatility.
The Signature Dynamic Income Fund, offered in Malaysia and Thailand, and the Principal Strategic Global Growth Fund in Malaysia have drawn strong interest, with combined assets under management exceeding S$306.6m as of 30 September.
“The Signature Dynamic Income Fund helps investors generate steady income while managing risk through a flexible income and multi-asset approach. For investors seeking growth opportunities, the Principal Strategic Global Growth fund provides access to global markets through actively managed strategies,” said Munirah Khairuddin, CEO and head of Principal Asset Management Berhad.
Principal and CIMB plan to launch another Signature Series fund in Malaysia and Thailand in the fourth quarter of this year, targeting investors with higher risk tolerance and long-term growth goals, with further regional expansion underway.
