Krungthai Card faces slower 2026 loan growth outlook: analyst

Management reported that credit card spending growth just 0.1% for the 11M period.

Krungthai Card (KTC) is expected to log slower loan growth in FY2026, according to estimates by CGS International (CGSI).

KTC’s loan growth slipped 0.4% year-on-year (YoY) in Q4 2025, although it is higher by 4.7% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) due to credit card loans. Personal loans only rose by 2% QoQ.

Credit card spending growth in Thailand was low at 0.1% YoY for the January-November 2025 period, according to KTC’s management discussion and analysis in Q4 2025.

Net profit for Q4 2025 rose by 8.4% YoY to THB2.1b, in line with expectations, said CGSI.

Non-performing loans (NPL) coverage ratio rose to 430% in Q4, from 426% in Q3.
