A bulk of this— about $9.35m— is a deferred award, of which 17.1% will be in cash and the remainder will be in the form of shares.

His cash bonus for the period is $6.64m.

Meanwhile, $80,533 were non-cash components consisting of club, car, and driver.

Gupta is stepping down as CEO of DBS in 2025, after helming Singapore’s biggest bank by asset-size since 2008.

In 2023, Gupta had taken a $4.14m variable pay cut following tech disruptions.
