Agricultural Bank of China VP Yang Kun resigns

The Agricultural Bank of China announced that its vice president Yang Kun has resigned.

 

"Mr. Yang Kun has resigned from his position as ABC's executive director, vice president and member of a special committee under the board, as he cannot perform his duties for personal reasons," the bank said.

The resignation is in effect as of Friday.

The bank added that Yang did not have any disagreements with the bank's board.

On May 30, the bank said in a statement that Yang was "assisting in an investigation" but did not elaborate on who was conducting the investigation or what the investigation was about.
