Deutsche Bank has announced the launch of new transaction banking apps on its award-winning Autobahn App Market in India.

According to a release from Deutsche Bank, leveraging a global payment processing engine, the Cash Manager app facilitates straight-through processing of payments and collections for corporates in India, including e-Tax payments.

The app also has an innovative dashboard feature that consolidates information, enabling clients to gain quick visibility into their account balance positions, payment statuses and key reports.

Here's more from Deutsche Bank:

The new Securities Portfolio Manager app acts as a single access point to a large variety of reports across custody, securities clearing and fund administration.

With an intuitive, flexible and user-friendly report retrieval process, Deutsche Bank’s institutional clients, such as mutual funds and insurance companies, benefit from a more efficient daily workflow.

The Autobahn App Market is the first app-based electronic client offering in the financial services industry, providing access to Deutsche Bank’s electronic products, services and intellectual property, including the Bank’s transaction banking services, award-winning research, commentary, pricing, analytics and execution tools.

The Autobahn apps are built with the latest front-end technology toolkit, enabling clients to use them on a multitude of browsers, operating systems and devices.

Anjali Mohanty, Head of Global Transaction Banking – India at Deutsche Bank, said: “We are pleased to introduce the Cash Manager and Securities Portfolio Manager apps in India first. This clearly demonstrates the importance of this market to the Bank and the clients we serve globally.

The Autobahn App Market has been developed by exercising great discipline leveraging synergies and best practices from across the entire organisation, and by using the valuable feedback we received from our clients. It exemplifies our client-centric product development strategy.”

Michael Spiegel, Global Head of Trade Finance & Cash Management Corporates at Deutsche Bank, added: "The Cash Manager app represents another major step forward in the ongoing build-out of the Autobahn App Market.

With its innovative design and powerful capabilities, the app will revolutionalise the way corporate treasurers access and process their transactions. We look forward to introducing it to our clients in other markets after this launch in India.”

Deutsche Bank’s Cash Manager and Securities Portfolio Manager apps will be made available in other countries throughout 2014 and 2015.
