UOB's TMRW launches biometrics for accounts opening

It will be available at all 350 authentication kiosks across Greater Bangkok.

TMRW, UOB’s digital banking arm, has enabled fingerprint and facial biometrics for a safer account opening experience, becoming the first Thai bank to do so, according to a news release.

Customers will be able to employ biometrics at all 350 authentication kiosks across Greater Bangkok. In addition, TMRW clients will have a new user interface for their mobile apps that can streamline the information that they receive and reduce the number of steps needed to pay bills and manage credit cards.

It is also the first bank in the country to design a money management game that helps customers meet their savings goal.
