Vietcombank automates trade finance processes

It has partnered with fintech firm Finastra to digitise its operations.

Vietcombank has tied up with fintech firm Finastra to automate its trade finance operational processes, according to a press release.

Through Finastra’s Fusion Trade Innovation Solution, the bank’s front-to-back operations, risk management processes, integration and access to multi-channel solutions will be streamlined.

As the solution works in unison with Fusion Corporate Channels, it will provide digital self-service through a corporate-centric online or mobile application to improve overall customer experience.

“Customers will be able to gain a 360-degree view of their transactions with a single point of access, allowing them to optimize working capital and automate administrative tasks and transaction enquiries,” the release added.
