ANZ names ex-NAB and Westpac exec to its board

Rachel Slade was most recently group executive, business and private banking at NAB.

The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) announced that Rachel Slade will join its board as a non-executive director.

Slade will also join the board of ANZ Group Holdings Limited and ANZ BH PTY Ltd effective 13 July 2026, as announced by ANZ Group chairman Paul O’Sullivan.

Slade previously held leadership positions at National Australia Bank (NAB) and Westpac.

She left NAB in July 2025, where she most recently served as group executive, business and private banking.

Prior to joining NAB in 2017, Slade spent 17 years in Westpac, where she held senior roles across global transactional services, retail, and business banking, ANZ said.

ANZ recently named a new New Zealand CEO and posted a $2.63b profit for the H1 2026 period.
