ANZ’s CRO Kevin Corbally to step down

He will serve as the Managing Director of Capital Management of the bank’s Institutional Division.

ANZ’s Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Kevin Corbally will step down from the role after seven years and move into a new position as Managing Director of Capital Management in the bank’s Institutional division.

Corbally is one of Australia’s longest-serving CROs, having held the role at ANZ since 2018.

During his time, he oversaw the bank’s response to the 2018 Banking Royal Commission and guided the organisation through the COVID-19 global pandemic.

In his new role, Corbally will focus on capital management in the institutional business, reporting to Group Executive Mark Whelan and joining the division’s leadership team.

He will remain CRO until a successor is named.
