Taiwan, Lithuania ink MOU for financial services innovation
They agree to exchange information on emerging market trends and relevant regulatory issues.
Taiwan and Lithuania have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on cooperation in regard to innovation in financial services.
The MOU includes provisions for the exchange of information on emerging market trends and development, as well as on regulatory issues regarding financial innovation, according to a statement posted on Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) website.
It also promotes cooperation amongst industry representatives from the two markets.
This is the latest fintech cooperation agreement by the FSC. Earlier, the FSC signed agreements with authorities in charge of fintech in various markets, including Poland, and the United States (Arizona State, New York State, New Jersy State).
The FSC has also been a member of the Global Financial Innovation Network (GFIN) since May 2019.
