Krungthai Bank temporarily closes 4 branches due to floods

One branch is separately closed due to suspended electrical supply.

Krungthai Bank temporarily closed four branches on 11 September 2024 due to floods.

The Thai bank announced the temporary closure of its Mae Sai Branch, Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai Airport branch, Chiang Rai City Hall Service Point branch, and Mae Chan Branch on 11 September.

All four branches will open as usual on 12 September, from 8:30 AM or 9AM onwards, the bank said in a statement posted on its website.

One branch, the Maeklong Branch has been temporarily closed from 12 September due to temporarily suspended electricity supply. The branch will open as usual on 13 September at 8:30AM.

It had earlier closed the Mae Sai Branch on 10 September due to floods as well. The branch is understood to have opened as usual on 11 September.
