Muamalat allocates RM56M for branch renovations/relocation

 Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd has allocated about RM56 million to renovate or relocate its 56 branches.

 

The programme would be carried out in stages starting this year, according to Director Datuk Azmi Abdullah after the opening of the bank's Johor Baharu branch by Menteri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman at the Kebun Teh Commercial Centre here today.

This year alone, he said, 14 branches would undergo renovation or be moved to more strategic locations.

"So far, two have gone through the process. They are in Selangor and Johor," he said.

Azmi said the renovation and relocation process was aimed at enhancing the qualify of service to customers.
