ICBC issues first American Express platinum card in China

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and American Express are offering the CBC AE Platinum Credit Card, the first prestigious AE credit card product launched in Mainland China.

ICBC AE Platinum cards are mainly issued to high-end personal customers in China. An ICBC AE Platinum card has all the functions and features of ICBC dual-currency credit cards and two accounts: RMB A/C and USD A/C. Cardholders are entitled to all the exclusive financial services: Elite Club VIP services at ICBC outlets, discount/no charge for six large categories of services, "Five Special Services" in Internet Banking (VIP Edition). ICBC AE Platinum card also offers a range of unparalleled services with high value-added for the prestigious cardholders: airport lounge VIP services in domestic and overseas airports, worldwide assistance services for platinum cardholders, RMB 4 million travel accident insurance, travel inconvenience insurance, unlimited access to a number of golf courses, special discount at high-class restaurants, private clubs and shopping malls.

The successful launch of ICBC AE Platinum Card will open a new chapter for ICBC-American Express partnership, lift up the core competence of ICBC credit card products and effectively improve the services to high-profile customers.
