Maybank joins GrabPay mobile wallet platform

Users will be able to use their e-wallets at Maybank’s key merchants.

Maybank has partnered up with ride-hailing platform Grab in a move that will enable the latter’s consumers to use their mobile wallets at the bank’s key merchants.

An option where Maybank customers can pay via Maybank QRPay at GrabPay merchants will also be rolled out, reported Finews Asia.

Consumers will also soon be able to top-up cash to their mobile wallet via Maybank2U, the bank’s e-banking portal. Maybank customers who use GrabPay as a payment method can also get to enjoy exclusive benefits and rewards.
