Ant International names Jiang-Ming Yang as chief innovation officer
Yang led development of A+ Rewards, CoPilot, and EasySafePay for Antom.
Ant International has appointed Jiang-Ming Yang as chief innovation officer (CIO), effective immediately.
Yang will lead the CIO Organisation, the team responsible for steering Ant International’s global innovation and product strategy.
He is also tasked with driving “synergised development of Ant International’s product and technology teams,” according to a press release.
Yang said that Ant International’s list of priorities will be “to push the cost and efficiency boundary for cross-border payment and settlement; to democratise cutting-edge technology solutions for SMEs on payment, trade and financial services; and to revolutionise user experience with new intelligent technology for cross-border travel.”
Yang was previously the chief product officer, building fintech and growth tech solutions that supported services offered by Alipay+, Antom, WorldFirst, and Bettr and platform tech.
Yang led the development and implementation of AI solutions, including: A+ Rewards by Antom, a one-stop digital marketing solution that is now used by 230 million users across 8 markets in Asia.
He also worked on Antom’s Copilot, as smart solutions provider and operations assistant powered by advanced large language models (LLMs); Antom EasySafePay, a one-click checkout solution streamlining digital wallet payments.
