Ant, RayNeo to bring AR glasses payments cross-border with Alipay+

They plan to enable the use of AR glasses for in-store payments.

Ant Group has partnered with RayNeo to develop digital payment solutions using augmented reality (AR) glasses.

Using RayNeo’s X3 Pro AR glasses, the two companies plan to bring AR glasses payments to users and merchants worldwide through Alipay+, according to a press release.

Ant Group and RayNeo will also work to explore AR glasses application in everyday services such as unlocking delivery lockers and paying utility bills, amongst others.

The project builds on AR glasses payment technology enabling in-store transactions by scanning Alipay QR codes, with RayNeo’s XR Pro AR glasses being the first to support payments through the Alipay Tap! merchant terminal in China.

RayNeo launched its X3 Pro device in May 2025.
