JCB cards now serviceable through EazyPay in Bahrain

JCB card holders can now be used through the Bahrain-based service provider.

Central Bank of Bahrain regulated online payment service, EazyPay, and Japan’s JCB International partnered for the acceptance of JCB cards through the Bahrain-based provider.

The purpose of this collaboration is to facilitate the acceptance of JCB Cards throughout EazyPay's extensive network of merchants operating in both the point-of-sale (POS) and e-commerce sectors within the Kingdom of Bahrain.

A formal signing ceremony took place last 12 June at the Eazy main office.

The partnership enables JCB cardholders worldwide to conveniently use their cards at all EazyPay merchant outlets in Bahrain.

Eazy introduced its EazyPay POS terminals and EazyPay SoftPOS app in 2020, enabling local merchants and SMEs to accept contactless payments.

This aligns with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030, promoting a competitive, sustainable, and fair environment for customers.
