NAB offers loan relief, fee waivers to Aussie bushfire victims
Those directly impacted may also be eligible for credit card payment deferrals, amongst others.
National Australia Bank (NAB) is providing A$1,000 in grants and financial relief, as well as loan deferrals and reduced loan repayments, to customers impacted by recent bushfires in parts of New South Wales and Tasmania in Australia.
The grant is expected to help NAB customers who suffered major damage to their home, property, or business, or cover emergency expenses.
Other support offered to NAB customers directly impacted by the fire include loan deferrals or reduced repayment arrangements for home, personal, and some business loans.
NAB is also offering hardship support for customers struggling to make minimum monthly payments on personal loans, home loans, or credit cards; deferrals for upcoming credit card payments; waivers or even refunds for fees and charges on merchant terminal fees and easy access fees to term deposits.
