Hyundai Card's Apple Pay cards find their home with teens and twenties
Nearly 7 in 10 of new applicants for the card are in this demographic.
The majority of Hyundai Card’s six new Apple Pay-tied cards are held by teens and twenties.
For the “Hyundai Card Check Card (Apple Pay Rewards)” and the “Hyundai Card Hybrid Card (Apple Pay Rewards)”, 69% of total issuance were customers in their teens and twenties, the South Korean card company said.
Meanwhile, 31% were existing Hyundai Card customers.
Hyundai Card launched the six new debit and hybrid cards in April 2026. The cards offer a flat 10% cashback on all Apple Pay transactions.
Four of the new cards are point and cashback variants of debit and hybrid cards and offer a 10x multiplier for point accumulation and cashback in categories such as dining, food delivery, convenience stores, and public transit, the company said.
For other categories, the cards offer unlimited point accumulation or cashback, it said.
