NETS Prepaid Card

NETS replacing FlashPay Cards with Prepaid Cards

NETS FlashPay Cards can be exchanged for NETS Prepaid Cards at any 44 SimplyGo Ticket Offices.

Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS) announced the roll out of a card exchange programme for NETS FlashPay Card.

This follows LTA’s announcement to phase out its existing card-based ticketing system for adult commuters.

Starting 1 June 2023, users will not be able to top up the NETS FlashPay Cards at ticketing machines and the card can no longer be used for public transport.

Users can exchange their cards for a NETS Prepaid Card from 19 January to 18 July 2024 at any of the 44 SimplyGo Ticket Offices.

The remaining value in the card will be refunded and a free NETS Prepaid Card will be issued to facilitate the commuter’s travel.

Users can link their NETS Prepaid Card to the NETS App for top ups, transaction history and trip details review, alerts, daily spending limits, and locking the card in case of misplacement and getting a refund if necessary.

Meanwhile, NETS FlashPay Card will still be valid for instore purchases at NETS acceptance points.
