The Next Experience: How TNEX supports digital lifestyle banking

TNEX provides customers with a digital ecosystem that helps them better manage their everyday needs and future plans.

Committed to its vision of “Democratising access to financial services for Vietnamese youth,” Vietnam-based digital-only bank TNEX is relentlessly focused on its mission of helping users get access to banking products by embedding finance in the users’ daily activity and improving their financial, mental, and physical health.

TNEX provides financial services and innovative features that make customers’ lives better and healthier with a modern technology platform, exclusively through a multitasking application.

After being built for just ten months, it has successfully launched its two apps: one for young people, and one for micro merchants. TNEX technology architecture is digitally native, enabling rapid innovation and quick delivery to securely scale whilst generating revenue and optimising costs.

Moreover, the bank built one of the most advanced fintech technology platforms in Southeast Asia using data science, cloud, and APIs to allow it to sustainably offer free-for-life everyday banking to customers. They don’t need to pay transactional, withdrawal, or monthly/yearly maintenance.

Its technology also helps TNEX against cyber threats. It has designed multiple authentication layers and data encryption at rest and in transit. It also uses AI and machine learning to spot suspicious behaviour.

Highlighting micro-lending feature

Within the collaboration of fintech company FCCOM, TNEX is launching its micro-lending feature that allows TNEX customers to register for personal consumer loans. With the desire to provide customers with proactive and timely financial support to realise their plans, the bank believes this is useful for its target customers.

The online registration process for the micro-lending feature is streamlined and can be completed anytime, anywhere. The disbursement of funds is also prompt, ensuring that the clients receive the financial support they require in a timely fashion. There is also no collateral required to receive the loan, and the bank’s interest rates are highly competitive and attractive – ensuring that customers receive optimal value for their borrowing needs.

TNEX’s success in providing seamless and secure services with zero transaction fees, as well as its micro-lending feature, was recognised by the ABF Retail Banking Awards as the bank bagged the Virtual Bank of the Year - Vietnam and the Consumer Finance Product of the Year - Vietnam awards.

The prestigious awards programme salutes exceptional industry leaders who have introduced cutting-edge products, services, and solutions that made a positive impact to their customers.
