Dah Sing Bank launch Payment Connect service in online platforms
The bank now offers instant cross-border remittance between the two markets.
Dah Sing Bank is officially participating in the Payment Connect service between Hong Kong and mainland China.
With this, the Hong Kong-based bank will offer instant cross-border remittance between the two markets for customers holding a Hong Kong identity card, according to a press release.
The service connects Hong Kong’s Faster Payment Systems (FPS) and mainland China’s Internet Banking Payment System (IBPS).
Customers with a Hong Kong identity card can access the service via the Dah Sing eBanking and mobile banking, eliminating the need to visit a branch or complete lengthy forms, the bank said.
Additionally, transfers in Chinese Yuan (CNY) or Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) from Chinese Mainland banks can also be received without additional handling fees.
From 11 August until 30 September 2025, Dah Sing Bank’s YOU banking customers can enjoy 5 pips discount when exchanging CNY by using the promotion code "RPA025".
Gold and Platinum members of the VIP Banking FX Club Membership Programme can enjoy preferential exchange rates of up to 10 pips discount, it added.
