Taiwan’s financial regulator names new director general for financial examination

Chen-chang Tong assumed his new role on 25 September 2024.

The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) of Taiwan has appointed Chen-chang Tong as FSC Financial Bureau Director General.

Tong is also the FSC Banking Bureau deputy director general.

Former FSC Financial Examination Bureau director general Tzy-Hao Chang has retired as of 2 August 2024.

The government’s executive branch approved the changes on 19 September, and director general Tong assumed his new position on 25 September.
