Korean bank loans to self-employed up in 2012
Bank loans to South Korea's self-employed reached 173.5 trillion won at the end of 2012.
The figure represents a 15.1 trillion won from the previous year, according to data compiled by the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS), the country's financial watchdog.
The faster growth pace reflects their growing financial burdens amid the prolonged economic slowdown.
