Japan’s Mizuho suffers nationwide ATM glitch

This follows a series of technical problems since Friday.

Most of the Mizuho Financial Group’s automated teller machines (ATMs) suffered a system glitch on 23 August, a report by Reuters said.

The glitch affected 130 ATMs and started around noon. According to the Reuters report, the glitch was fixed by 1:30 p.m.

The banking firm has been suffering major glitches since last Friday which left Mizuho’s branches unable to process transactions, as well as other technical problems.
