Airwallex Capital launches Airwallex Yield for asset management

The service was first introduced in Australia.

Airwallex Capital has received approval to offer asset management services in Hong Kong, setting the stage for the launch of Airwallex Yield.

Airwallex Yield aims to help businesses enhance returns on multi-currency funds by investing in highly-rated money market funds, allowing them to grow balances without needing to open foreign bank accounts. The service also offers flexibility, with no lock-up periods, enabling businesses to move funds between cash balances and their Airwallex Yield account as needed.

The service was first introduced in Australia in November 2023 and has since attracted over US$67.3m (AU$100m) in funds under management.

Additionally, Airwallex launched Airwallex Spend in Australia, providing businesses with a comprehensive platform for managing finances, powered by artificial intelligence-driven automation and integrated supplier payment infrastructure.
