JCB expands card acceptance in UK

Over 110,000 UK-based merchants in the hospitality sector can now accept JCB cards.

JCB has announced a strategic partnership with DOJO, a London-based payment technology provider, to expand JCB card acceptance in the UK.

Over 110,000 UK-based merchants across the hospitality sector, will now be able to accept JCB Cards beginning January 2025.

About 6,000 to 7,000 merchants in central London alone will now be able to accept payments using JCB’s “front of wallet” card.

At the same time, DOJO merchants will be exposed to a market of 164 million cardmembers across the globe.

JCB Cardmembers traveling to Ireland, Spain, and Italy will also soon benefit from DOJO's payment solution, increasing JCB's acceptance across Europe.
