They will develop two programmes to promote sustainability in businesses.
Hang Seng Bank has become a ‘green partner’ of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKTSP), reportedly the first bank to do so.
Hang Seng and HKTSP will introduce two programmes to promote sustainability solutions and enhance the operational efficiency of Hong Kong enterprises, according to a press release.
The Business Community Engagement Programme will see Hang Seng and HKSTP establish a business matching platform that connects Hong Kong enterprises with HKSTP Park Companies.
The programme will provide networking events and seminars.
The GreenTech Acceleration Programme will see Hang Seng mentor HKSTP Park companies on developing solutions that can be applied in Hang Seng’s commercial environment. These solutions will be showcased at the GreenTech Hub.
GreenTech Hub provides participating companies with talent training, testing and application scenarios, accelerating the application of research
and development outcomes.
Currently, the HKSTP Park has gathered over 200 companies with solutions specialising in new energy, smart city, green buildings and green fintech.
