Bank of East Asia names Bi Ming-qiang as chief executive of BEA China

Bi was formerly CEO, executive director, and president of China CITIC Bank International.

Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA) has named Bi Ming-qiang as executive director and chief executive of its Chinese banking subsidiary, effective 1 April 2025.

Bi is currently the deputy chief executive of BEA. He succeeds Montgomery Ho, who will retire from the group.

Bi joined BEA on 5 December 2024. He has 27 years of professional experience in the banking industry.

Prior to joining BEA, he was executive director, president and CEO of China CITIC Bank International Limited. He was also chairman of CITI Bank International (China) Limited.
