Ant International boosts SME treasury tools with World Card launch

The physical card will be launched later this year.

Ant International’s payment and treasury services platform WorldFirst has launched World Card, which promises to simplify global transactions and lower operational costs for small businesses.

Launched with Mastercard, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can use the card for paing in over 150 currencies and 210 countries and regions.

It will have no foreign exchange fees in cross border payments with 15 major currencies when paying from their WorldFirst account balance. These currencies include USD, CNH, EUR, GBP, JPY, SGD, HKD, AUD, NZD, and CAD.

Customers may create multiple cards for specific expenses, teams, or projects in 2025. All spending can be tracked through a central dashboard.

The card also offers a cash back rewards program.

A physical World Card will be launched later in 2025.

Meanwhile, World Card will begin support for Apple Pay and Google Pay in the coming months.
