ANZ names Stephen White as group executive operations

He joins ANZ in November 2025.

The Australia and New Zealand Banking Corporation (ANZ) has appointed Stephen White as group executive operations.

White joins from Santander UK, where he has served as its chief operating officer since 2022.

He has also held senior leadership roles at Yorkshire Building Society, AIB Group, and National Australia Bank, both in the UK and Australia.

White will be a member of the group’s executive committee and will be accountable for ANZ’s group-wide operations function.

White will join ANZ in November 2025 and will be based in Melbourne.
