Bank Muamalat unveils Islamic digital bank ATLAS

It offers Shariah-compliant financing, DuitNow onboarding, and personalised services.

Bank Muamalat has launched ATLAS, an Islamic digital-only bank centered on faith and lifestyle alignment, according to a press release.

ATLAS makes use of Backbase’s AI platform. It offers DuitNow onboarding, Shariah-compliant financing, and personalised services. It also promises seamless onboarding.

It plans to expand its product offerings in the coming months, including rolling out digital debit and credit cards.

Other services planned include a Shariah-compliant gold investment account.
