DBS launches digital voucher system through Paylah platform
Programmable Rewards is aimed at companies and public agencies seeking to streamline campaigns, among others.
DBS has launched a new digital voucher system, Programmable Rewards, through its DBS PayLah! platform.
Programmable Rewards is aimed at companies and public agencies seeking to streamline campaigns, employee benefits, community support programs, and consumer engagement initiatives.
Individual users can receive and redeem vouchers directly through the DBS PayLah! app.
The solution uses blockchain and smart contract technology to enable businesses and public sector organizations to issue vouchers with customized usage conditions.
The digital vouchers are powered by DBS’s proprietary blockchain infrastructure, the bank said. Issuers can also set specific rules for where, when, and how vouchers are redeemed, helping reduce misuse and ensuring vouchers are used as intended.
