Citi Commercial Bank names Galvin Phua as head of markets solutions

He will drive the strategy for market solutions for CCB clients in Asia South and North.

Citi has announced Galvin Phua as head of markets solutions under cluster sales— Asia North and Asia South— for its Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) clients.

Phua will be based in Singapore and will report to Cecile Gambardella and John Chun, heads of sales for markets, JANA and Asia South.

Phua is tasked with driving the overall strategy to provide market solutions for CCB clients in Asia South and Asia North. He will also continue to cover ASEAN-based corporate clients for markets-related financing transactions.

Phua first joined Citi in 2014 and has led the Singapore and Indonesia corporate FX sales team. He will continue to serve in his FX role until a successor is announced.
